Doug is a practicing partner with the law firm that bears his name: Covington, Patrick, Hagins, Stern & Lewis, PA. His legal resume is impressive. He’s been a member of the SC Bar Association since 1976 and has served on the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline, Judicial Qualifications Committee pursuant to appointment by the SC Supreme Court, and the Judicial Qualifications Committee through the SC Bar. He has also served as President of the SC Trial Lawyers Association, as well as a sustaining member and member of the Leaders Forum of the American Association for Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association), where he also served on the Counsel of Presidents. The list goes on and on. But despite his many professional successes, Doug is equally driven to help others. He has a particular passion for participating in and even help lead International Missions.
